A garden office
5 October 2026 · 2-minute readWorking from home has its perks, but also a catch: work spreads across the dining table, the sofa and your head. A garden office puts a door between work and home.

A twenty-step commute
Leave the house, cross the garden and open a door. That short walk becomes a boundary: when you go in, you start work; when you come out, you've finished. For many people, that separation is what changes their day the most.
What a good garden office needs
- Natural light. A large window close to the desk.
- Good insulation, so the space is pleasant and quiet.
- Power designed for work: enough sockets and separate circuits.
- A proper desk and room to store papers and equipment.
- The option to become something else when the working day is over.
How Creixent does it
Creixent has a double-height ceiling, which lets the space breathe. Under the window there's a folding table that works as a desk, a console or a dining table for several guests. It has continuous 12 cm insulation, double-glazed PVC windows and three separate electrical circuits: lighting, sockets and power.

And when the day is done, the sofa turns into a double bed and, upstairs, the loft has a panoramic window at bed height. The office becomes a guest room.

No building work, no foundations
A garden office doesn't have to mean building work. Creixent arrives in one piece by crane truck, levels itself on four supports and just needs connecting to water, electricity and drainage. And if you ever move house, it can come with you.
If you can picture yourself working there, see all the photos on the Creixent page or book a visit in Juneda.
