How a garden pavilion is moved by crane
5 October 2026 · 2-minute readIt's in our name: ESMOU is Catalan for “it moves”. Creixent isn't put together piece by piece in your garden; it arrives in one piece, hanging from a crane. Here's how it's done.

1. First, a look at the site
Before every move we study where the pavilion will go. The crane truck has to be able to get close to the property, and the distance between where it can park and the exact spot where the pavilion will stand decides which crane is needed. We also check for obstacles: cables, trees, walls or slopes.

2. The rings on the roof
Creixent has threaded lifting rings on the roof that connect straight into its steel frame. They go on and come off quickly, and they are the points the crane lifts it by, without straining the walls or the finishes.
3. Lifting and loading
With the slings attached to the rings, the crane lifts it quickly and safely and sets it down on the truck's flatbed.

4. Arriving and setting it down
At the new location the same happens in reverse: the crane lowers it into place. Its four supports level it whatever the terrain, with no foundations.

5. Connect it and enjoy
All that's left is to connect it to the site's water, electricity and drainage. Creixent comes with its outdoor electrical connection, water inlet and drainage ready to connect.
How much does a move cost?
It depends on the distance, the access and the surroundings of each site. That's why we always study it first, and the cost is set out in the contract.
